The Faculty of Graduate Studies and Vice-President of Research and Innovation are celebrating excellence in research at York, Thursday March 7 with the finals of the Three Minute Thesis competition.
Join us at the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, where graduate students have three minutes to offer their best, and most compelling, presentation about their academic work. This research communication competition challenges students to consolidate their ideas and research discoveries so they can inspire a wide audience with how they will change our world. The powerful, the dynamic and the passionate presentations have made it to the finals. Master of ceremonies for the competition will be Chad Craig, York's Alumni Relations Manager of Community Relations. Judges for the competition include Lisa Philipps, Associate Vice-President Research, Barbara Crow, Dean and Associate Vice-President Graduate and Guy Burry, York University Alumni Association.
There are seven students participating in the competition:

- Kamilla Pietrzyk—Political Science
- Luana Sciullo—Biology

The celebration will be held in York Lanes 280N from 1 to 3 pm.
